Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals from a phone
Paying a casino in Bitcoin is a different kind of payment from a card or bank link. There is no bank to call and no chargeback: a transaction sent to the wrong address is gone. On a phone, where you copy long strings and scan QR codes, that means a few habits are worth building before the first deposit. How a Bitcoin deposit usually works
- Choose Bitcoin in the cashier. It displays a deposit address and often a QR code.
- Open your wallet app on the same phone and choose "send". Either paste the copied address or — if you use a second device — scan the QR code.
- Compare the first and last several characters of the pasted address with the one in the cashier. Clipboard-hijacking malware exists; this check takes five seconds.
- Enter the amount, review the network fee your wallet shows and send.
- Return to the casino. The deposit is credited after the network confirmations the operator requires; until then the cashier may show it as pending.
Euro value moves while you wait
Your casino balance is kept in euro, while Bitcoin's price changes constantly. The amount credited depends on the conversion the operator applies at the moment it processes the deposit, and the same applies in reverse on withdrawal. Tax is about the organiser, not the coin
In Estonia the tax treatment of casino winnings depends on the organiser: winnings from an organiser licensed by EMTA are not subject to income tax, winnings from an unlicensed organiser are taxable income at 22 % and must be declared. - Use a wallet app from the official app store and protect it with a PIN or biometrics.
- Never share your recovery phrase — no casino or support agent needs it.
- Send a small test amount first if you are new to crypto payments.
- Keep screenshots of the cashier address and the transaction ID until the deposit is credited.
